THEY WORK?

We are urinals! We dont take no sh!t!

Okay… time to fire-up the bloggy for 2006. I wrote about this twice before...

• Ambivalent? Well, yes and no

The owner of this non-disclosed pub who owns this famous urinals have requested that I blog the Urinals once again. The reason for this is purely that I blogged them before in non-working order, simply because that constituted “NEWS”.

When I studied journalism and media in the good old days, we had an exam question that read as follows: “What is news?” Based on that question, I can say with conviction that the photo above DOES NOT constitute the term “NEWS”.

The correct answer to the question “What is news?” should read:

• If a dog bites a man – it is NOT news.
• If a man bites a dog – it is news.

In conclusion – a picture of a working Urinal is NOT news, but does bring forth a lot of text that you have just read. At least you as the reader now know the answer to “What is news?”
